taking 10, taking 20
What is the best way to set up your quick slots for taking 10 or taking 20 with skills?

Type in the chat window "I'm taking 10 (+4) on Search: result 14" and drag that to the slot?

Hmm. can you add skills to the quick slot, and when you change them on the char sheet, do they change in the quick slot?

Once something is in a quick key it is static and does not change. Another approach to taking 10 or 20 is to first type 10 or 20 in the mod box, then click on the wood desktop to get rid of the brackets around the 10 or 20. Then either press a hot key with the skill mod or drag and drop the total skill mod into the mod box. Next instead of rolling a die just drag and drop the mod box in the chat window. The skill will show up with its mod and then a , +10 or +20.
Obviously, you could just make a +10 or +20 hot key if you take 10 or 20 a lot and already have skill hotkeys set up.

No, they don't remain in sync as far as I know.

If you're comfortable with making your own ruleset, have a look at this thread: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...ead.php?t=7449
It describes how you can drag & drop skills onto hotkeys, plus a way to keep the modifier on the hotkey in sync with the character sheet.

/die 10+x (where x is your modifier). /die does not have to be a variable, it can be constant.

Good point. I still recommend using my ruleset modification though. You could put "/die 10+{skilllist.[Bluff].total} Bluff (Taking 10)" in a hotkey and never have to do anything again.
