    Rule Clarification for Zealot Barbarians

As the title states, I was just looking for oppinions out there on an interpretation of RAW. I have a fun idea of a Zealot Barbarian with two warhammers with the Dual Wield and Fighting Initiate feats. The question I have is about how you would go about interpreting the text of Divine Fury: Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can channel divine fury into your weapon strikes. While you're raging, the first creature you hit on each of your turns with a weapon attack takes extra damage equal to 1d6 + half your Barbarian level. The extra damage is necrotic or radiant; you choose the type of damage when you gain this feature..

The way I am seeing this is that with Extra Attack, and the bonus two weapon attack, you would have three chances to fish for a crit to amplify the Divine Fury, as long as you either forego the extra damage entirely because the creature dies on one of your hits, or that the damage can be done on the last hit on the same creature you first attacked, as long as it is the first creature you attacked.

I see many posts on many forums calling RAI and saying it has to be applied to the first attack, but they are mainly trying to shut down people who are mistakenly trying to get extra damage on all attacks made with a weapon to that first creature attacked. I think it is clear that the damage only gets applied once, and it has to be on the first creature you attack on your turn. No one seems to address the scenario that I discus here where you delay the Fury damage to the second or third attack you make on your turn, but still hitting the same first creature attacked.

    Any opinions on this?

Seems legit. It says first creature and not first attack.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php
