NPC sheets not showing dice icons when locked

Hello,
I am trying to add new NPCs and working with existing and have come across a situation I can't explain or correct. When I lock an NPC, the Disciplines don't change to a die icon, therefore I can't roll any task other than the fixed attacks on the sheet. Am I missing something? Or have I inadvertently changed a setting somewhere that can be switched back, or is this related to the recent updates to Core RPG? Please help, and let me know if there is something I can send you to replicate. Thanks,
