How to change the character portrait size?

In FGII, I've created player character portraits that are 64x64 pixel images.

But when I use the character token that appears when I drag the character bubble in the upper left corner to a map or to the combat tracker and then the map they appear to be compressed to something like a 28x28 pixel image.

I've tried the resize token option but the image quality is too poor to be worth using if the map is zoomed in at all.

My workaround is to put the character portraits in my tokens folder and then to drag the 64x64 image over to the combat tracker every time I start a session or when I need a new combat tracker.

It would be 'nice' if there was a setting somewhere to change the size of the character tokens.
