Familiars, Eidolons, and DR

I'm a bit of a new DM with fantasy grounds trying to help set up character sheets for my ground and I've run into a couple of issues.

I have a player using a shaman and one using a summoner both of which we haven't been able to figure out how to add their spirit animal and eidolon to the game easily. I didn't know if there was something I was missing to add one or if I have to make a half filed character sheet for them.

Additionally, I have a player using a gathlain that wants to use the alternative racial trait that gives DR 1/cold iron for ever 5 hit die but no matter what I put on the damage resistance section of their sheet automates the process. I know you can do it with monsters so it automatically takes the resisted amount off but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it to work.

If you have any advice or way to fix/help with these it would be greatly appreciated.

An additional character sheet the player can fully control is the usual approach.

That field in the PC sheet is purely for information, you'll need to apply relevant effects manually once the PC has been added to the combat tracker - something like: DR: 1 cold iron

Okay, thank you so much for the response! Good to know I wasn't going crazy with the DR thing on the character sheet. Thanks again for all of the info!
