Any mods or extensions for companion pets/familiars in 5e

This isn't a critical need , this is a need out of just pure convenience. We are managing without any special extensions or mods to do this. However, one thing I know about FGU is there's pretty much an extension or module to do anything (within reason) -- especially for 5e.

Is there an extension/mod that is well liked for players to summon, select and control familiars -- with the point being as minimum DM/GM involvement as possible being required?

I use the free extension "Friend Zone". You can use this for familiars, pets, or mostly in my campaign, for creatures they pull out of their bag of tricks:

I second this extension; it is relatively easy to use and requires very little GM intervention.
