Can a player char be an adversary to the main group
I have a scenario coming up in 5E DOTMM module where a player will be using an old character from a previous campaign which has been tempted by offers from the mad mage himself.
This will in effect be where a player will turn on his fellow players.
I’m looking for how to have one player be in effect a different faction. Does FGU handle scenario.

Handle how? In combat tracker you have the green/yellow/red markers for faction that represent friendly/neutral/enemy state of a token. Converting the pc from green to red will make it clear what is going on, but I say the surprise will be in the narrative, not in the CT
The past is a rudder to guide us, not an anchor to hold us back.

Click on the green dragon head icon next to the player on the CT to change it to red. This will make the character hostile.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Note that I do not know how faction will impact the Party Vision & Movement option On. It may or may not take into account the faction. If that is important to you, you will want to test.
