Accessing owned content still doesn't work
Hi guys,
I am surprised to find after all this time that as someone who owns a pile of content I still cannot access all of it as a player in unity.
The items I want to access are not all owned by the GM, but I own them, so they should be available to me.
There is no option for the GM to enable them as has been described in previous posts via the library.
This has been attempted a number of times. Myself and the GM both have ultimate licenses.
Not sure what else could be stopping my content from being listed for activation in his library.
What would be next step on troubleshooting this?
Thanks,
Mike

The GM needs to allow you to have access to that content.

Please provide a copy of your logs and the GMs logs, taken immediately after you've connected to their game and the GM has looked in their module activation screen for your material. Details on collection the logs is available here: https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassia...o+Compile+Logs
Also, which specific modules do you own that the GM can't see.Private Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages. Usually the GM can see the items not owned by the host as a 'spider web' icon on his side of the FGU activation window, or it used to. If the GM is using an extension that changes the way the library and module activation window looks or functions that might be an issue on his end. Your host should be able to allow you to use the content that you have on your end.

Hi again,
Sorry RL got in the way of getting this sooner. We did a bit of testing and a lot of screen sharing! No joy with some of them.
Doc with pics here: https://1drv.ms/w/s!AkVgZBN_QIyDhJlt...3GMgw?e=dGJpmn
GM logs here: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AkVgZBN_QIyDhJls...colMA?e=9PQBl9
Player logs here: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AkVgZBN_QIyDhJlr...qV5cw?e=IVF7HW
In short, some of the modules worked this time but some still dont:
Player Sections of Bestiary 2-6 and Planar Adventures.
Ultimate Combat
Pathfinder Unchained
Ultimate Equipment
Not sure what is preventing this :/
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers
Mike

@Kronides - thanks for providing the in depth details, this has really helped.
So, the reason the GM can't see Player Sections of Bestiary 2-4 and 6, Ultimate Combat, Pathfinder Unchained and Ultimate Equipment is that they're tagged in their internal FG database structure as GM modules, not as player modules. "Pathfinder Bestiary 5 Player Resource" is tagged as a player module and the GM can see that in their Module Activation screen. They can also see the "Pathfinder RPG - Planar Adventures Player Resource" as this is also tagged as a player module.
So, this is working as expected from a purely FG functionality level.
The issue is this: which modules should be tagged as a player module or as a GM module? The GM can override this if they own the module (changing the red X to a green tick) but can't give access to a module that a player owns (but the GM doesn't) if it's set as a GM module.
I'll take this to the converters for these products and review how these are set up. Thanks for reporting the issue and providing the in-depth details.Private Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages.
