    Creating modules from published materials

    Good morning Fantasy Grounds,

I know I can't create a module from a published source and then share that material because it would violate copyright. That said there is nothing preventing me from creating a module from that material for personal use correct (no sharing)? It can save some money if I just want parts of a publication for personal use.

As you say as long as you don't share the finished module there's nothing stopping you.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Yep, as long as you don't distribute you are fine.

You may decide not to convert the whole thing, i.e. you don't usually need to enter location descriptions and such since you can read those from your purchased copy. At a minimum you will want maps, images to share, NPCs, encounters, items, treasure parcels. Then boxed text if you wish to share that in chat.
