    show DM dice rolls

    Hi all;

As a DM I like to toss the dice a lot, and more I like the players to see my dice rolls. Last night I noticed that they didn't see my dice rolls (just a shadow of the dice being rolled).

Is there a command to show my rolls (and alternately to hide them)?

    thanks
    Sgain

On revealing hidden die rolls by the GM see die reveal.

    Later.

    From the Library
Roll the dice as normal, keeping the control key depressed when the mouse button is released.

The die roll result will appear in a public roll result bubble.

    - OR -

    Enter the command "/die reveal".

Subsequent GM die roll results will be displayed to the players.

To hide the rolls, enter the command "/die hide".

In the SW ruleset this also ties into showing the NPC turn order in the chat window.

I tried holding down control during my Savage Worlds game but the players said they still couldn't see the die result. "/die reveal" did work. I tried holding down control several times to no avail. Could be a bug, or I'm really bad at holding down a key and using the mouse at the same time.

Strange, I have a quite old ruleset and it doesn't do that.
I can control-roll dice anytime without incident.
    Always keep it in perspective!

You *have* to press and hold the Ctrl key down before you release the die and let go after it rolls. I blew it quite a bit at first. You can tell if a die is hidden by the question mark in the die roll bubble if there is no ?, the die roll is not hidden. You may to try it a few time to get it.
