4e Magic Item Critical

Hello there,

I'm using the 4e ruleset in FGU and am trying to create a Blurred Strike Ki Focus in the magic items section. I entered the information and dragged the item onto a character sheet to test. Everything worked except for the extra critical die being populated (this ki focus gets an extra d8 on crit). I tried several variations (1d8, 1d8 damage, +1d8, +1d8 damage, etc), but nothing seemed to work. Am I doing something wrong or am I misunderstanding what the critical box is for when creating a magic item?

Bump. If the answer is that I just have to do it manually each time, that's fine. Just want to make sure I'm not doing it wrong.

Posting to the 4e forum worked. In case anyone finds this thread in the future, the correct syntax is "+xdy critical damage". So in my case it was "+1d8 critical damage".
