Star Trek Adventures need new Players

FG License: GM(s) have Ultimate Licenses so players can use free demo licenses
Game System: Star Trek Adventures by Modiphius. Community ruleset unless the official one someday gets published!

Time Zone: 7:00 PM UTC (2:00PM Eastern)
Day of week and time: 1-2 Saturdays a Month
Planned start date: Feb 5, 2022
Planned Duration & Frequency: 3-6 hours depending on the story and people's availability. Intent would be to play every 2-3 weeks
Term: Long term

Voice: Teamspeak Private Server. Discord used to plan games and communicate between games


Roleplay & Combat mix: 80/20. This system is designed to be heavy Role Playing.
Number of Players in game & needed: We have 3 players currently. Looking to add 2-3 additional officers

Character restrictions: Character concepts should fit into the time period. This campaign is set during the TNG timeframe. Starting on Startdate 47515. This is a year after Embok Nor (5th season of DS9) was turned over to the Bajorans.

Details of your scenario: The USS Perth under command of Captain Will Rodore is looking to transfer a few key personnel to the USS Perth. We currently have a Chief Medical Officer, an Executive officer, Science officer, and Captain. Key missing officers include Helm, Conn, Security, Engineering, Counselor and Strategy Officer.

The First Officer and Captain take turns GMing so you will see those characters jump from Players to NPCs as needed. This system emphasizes role playing over combat tactics and is a very narrative system. No previous ruleset experience is required as we can teach the rules as we go. We also welcome players new to Fantasy Grounds. The times we can play tend to be limited to Saturday afternoons as we have some European players. We also look to only play 1 or 2 Saturdays a month since some of the players run Starfinder Society and Pathfinder Society games on occasion during this timeslot. We also have a few players that are not avid RPGers, but are playing because they like Star Trek. We are primarily playing published modules with some home-grown material sprinkled in here and there.

Every player creates a main character that is typically a key officer as their player character. A supporting cast character will also be created by each player and added to the supporting cast pool for anyone to play when a scene might not have your main character participating.
