    Modifying Weapon Non-Proficiency Penalty

Lindal Nine-Fingers is a 3rd level Halfling (Stout) Thief with Burglar kit.

    He has 19 Dexterity...

Under the Actions/Weapons tab why is it giving him the +3 to attack for short bow and sling, but not a thrown dagger? It does seem to have granted him the +1 to attack for thrown dagger for Halfling but not to sling.

Thanks for your continued help, really appreciate it! Trying to get all the PC sheets ready for a launch of Night Below in a couple weeks and this is my first time DM'ing on a VTT like Fantasy Grounds Unity!

Go to your skills tab and assign weapon proficiency to the weapons accordingly. If you think you've already done that, please show a screenshot of your skills tab and the weapon proficiencies assigned.

    Thanks for your help JohnD!

Weapon proficiency assigned to Dagger and Sling.

Everything looks correct (Missile Adjustment and Halfling bonus applied) except shouldn't Dagger thrown also be 4? It isn't including the Missile Adjustment for Dagger thrown?

Well, by the book I believe thrown daggers still use Strength to calculate to hit, however many people (myself included) use Dexterity for the to hit modifier and Strength as damage modifier.

You could go into the gear on the thrown dagger and add in a +1 bonus, or you could go back to your Skills tab and make a weapon proficiency called something like "Thrown Daggers - Halfling" and make that proficiency give a +1 to hit bonus and then assign it to the thrown dagger entry (this is how I would do it because of my OCD wanting to see everything listed under weapon proficiencies).

You could also go into the gear on the thrown dagger entry and change the to hit modifier from Strength to Dexterity.
