One thing I would like is being able to see what format the item is for on the item page itself, other than hoping the creator says what it is for, it should be required. Like is it core, 5e, pf etc.

Attached an example how you can click on something and not know which gaming system/ruleset it's able to be used for.

It would seem like there should be a box or something on here that must be filled out correctly to denote what it's for.

This should be fixed in the next update.

Please consider adding a "Last updated" field on the product page. Currently it's only visible in the list view.

Message the developer. It's up to them to post the extension.

Please give us an overview of what is being updated. Things scroll through so fast in that update window and it just vanishes at the end with no chance to scroll back. We are working with extensions that we don't know when they were updated and thus may cause problems due to (unknown) changes.

Check your FG data folder for a file called FGUpdaterEngine.log

Thanks for the hint. Now I know a lot of UID numbers.

If you put the id into forge (example: https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/82/view) then you should see what the item is, but that isn't a good long term solution; I'll look into putting something more identifiable into the logs.
