Moving campaign from Classic to Unity?
How much or little of a chore is it to move my campaign over from FGC to FGU?
And how would I go about doing so?

You just copy the folder from the FGC data folder and paste it into the data folder for FGU.

Excellent, thank you. That is what I was hoping for.
And all the additional content I purchased for Classic will carry over to Unity as well?

Yes, same as classic, when you update the software it will check the server and download your purchases. I believe you can copy the modules from classic to unity as well, rather than downloading them again. Same with extensions, if they are compatible with unity.

You will also need to copy across your tokens and portraits folder if you've used anything custom or it will unlink them.

When you move from Classic to Unity, check that all the people connecting to Unity have decent hardware and updated software, as otherwise you could have issues.
Classic runs on non updated toasters, Unity won't.
By our experience.
This said, in most cases if better to go Unity, especially now with the new features.Neuronblaster GM on warhorn.net
