    Presets pane in Effects window

    Hi,

I opened the Effects window and see there is a Presets pane. I'm getting old, but I don't recall seeing the Preset pane before. I can't seem to interact with it. Is this a FGU Core rule set feature that can't be activated via GURPS Core rules? What is its purpose as I would like to enable it if possible.

    Thanks

It is a placeholder for any presets defined for each ruleset. There will be some generic lighting presets added; as soon as the lighting release is ready.

Also, rulesets can store game system specific presets there, such as Conditions.

Does this mean that there will be some rudementary Effects programming in the GURPS ruleset?

There will be VISION/LIGHT effects at minimum once v4.1 is out. Beyond that is up to the ruleset developer.

Just tried the presets and they are amazing.

Thanks for building in a functionality that can be used by rulesets like GURPS.

    Well done SmiteWorks!
