Adding images (icons) to the library...?

I recall a discussion about adding images (like maps) which were accessible to the players at any time in FG1 by linking to them from the referencebox (and the eventual solution was a real nightmare, if I remember correctly). Is there some more elegant way to pull this off in FG2? I'd like to have the world map and some city maps available to players whenever they want to pull them up -- instead of me having to open the file and 'share' it. Any ideas?

Easiest way would be to create a "common" module that has indexes to show up in the library.

The reason I say "common" is so that the data still resides on your machine, but is transmitted to the Players on connection.

If you need more info, feel free to contact me off line as the "how to" is kinda a little long winded, and I just don't have time atm to detail it, though I should one day as this question comes up quite a bit
