    Oh Noooo... Skeletons!

One of my next projects is for a generic monster package, the undead!
Here is what I have so far....

    Sooo.... what you think?

Nice work. I especially like Colonel Shakey there in the last set

Well since I plan to do some WWII stuff I thought I had better do an evil animated Nazi Skelly!

I think this pack will be a grave mistake.

    *rimshot*

DM: For reference sake, when a bad guys dies, I'll turn their token over. So an upside down 'A' or 'B' means it's a corpse.
PC 1: So if we kill a 'M' is it reincarnated as a 'W'?
PC 2: That damn 'O' just won't die!

    Looks promising.

I think I have been going about these token packs the wrong way. Instead of working on making a big "starter" package, and then lots of little "addon" packs, I think I should start by releasing packs that contain a few character sets on a subject or theme, then later once I have a good amount of them, bundle them up into a starter pack with a bit of a discount to the "bundled" price. That way people can ether wait for the bundles or buy the bits they want without getting the bits they don't want.... also means I get more packs out there faster than the slow slog of making big "starter" packs which take me longer....

    Hum.....

Eventually its going to rest on what you think is a value proposal for your buyers. I wouldn't kick yourself too hard for giving people sizable packages - I'm sure they appreciate them.

    Sigurd

Maybe you should target big packages and custom updates. You do the packages that apeal to you only and charge a little bit more for packages other people want done.

That might not be a bad idea, Tailz.

I'll do a little experiment with the Fantasy Tokens I have so far. I think I have enough to do a Men At Arms pack, and soon I should be able to do a little pack of Knights in Armour - and a little skeletons package.

But there was some funny feedback at RPGnow.com

DISLIKED: Well, my girlfriend keeps saying that there could have been a bit more clothes on the females...
Aww, then I guess she will hate my plans for a Future Theme pack: Clone Girls!

Not to mention the scantily clad fantasy package: Sorcerer Babes!

Oh well, I guess I shall have to scrap my plans for a Pin-up calendar: Hot Clerics of 2007!
