Spring clear modules: which are not needed for 5E
I'm using a batch file to do some spring cleaning. Am I right I don't need these modules for 5E when I have the normal books? I don't mind doing this over when I do an update.

No you don't need any of those for 5e.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Not calendars.mod? Though maybe only if you load a campaign calendar.

Just out of curiosity:
What's your reasoning behind deleting the files?
I could see why you might want to delete the SRD, when you already have the PHB etc. because it will show up in your Library as loadable. So it will "clutter" it with modules you don't need for 5E.
But why delete the other rulesets modules?
Wouldn't that just mean the downloader will download the files even if there are no changes to them over and over again when you delete them? Which would lead to longer update times.
Are you using the universal loader extension to load modules from other rulesets which could lead to the mentioned reason I could think of before for them, too?

Those downloads will happen anyway for the 5e stuff, so I'll have to run the batch file after each update. It's completism and just leaving the files I do recognize and use. They might not bother me, but deleting them doesn't hurt either.
Update speed could be a reason not to remove them.Last edited by Milmoor; February 27th, 2021 at 20:53.
