Call of Chuthulu more popular in Japan than DND?

    https://www.dicebreaker.com/games/ca...-dnd-japan-rpg

I found this an interesting article that Call of Chuthulu is now bigger than D n D in Japan now according
    To dicebreaker.com

I don't think of ever hearing about a place where Dungeon and Dragon came in second in popularity before

Interesting news, but then the Japanese culture likes horror stories.

I have no direct information to support this, but I have always judged from articles, convention reports, etc.... that D&D isn't often in first place through a lot of Europe either.

There are several Euro RPGs that are very popular in their home countries.

It has been this way for quite some time.
