I'll also mention that the community as a whole is better than what I have seen on Roll20. Plus Roll20 actively removes ANY mention (even good comparisons) to any type of competition from their forums. This discussion could NOT happen in their forums.

Actually Fantasy ground after 3 years can be a lot cheaper the r20. There is a video on Youtube called "Roll20 Vs Fantasy Grounds | Which is REALLY the Cheapest?" that lays it out very nicely. It does cover a lot of different scenarios, including some where a just player user would prefer r20.

About it only being on your computer, use a cloud storage system like one drive. As long s your data is to large it is free.

That video was a big part of why I decided on FG. That and I wasn't comfortable with R20's limits on uploading, since I do a LOT of my own maps.

Go for FG Unity and change to 5e. I don't understand why you want to play 4e that is not much supported as it was really a failure of edition

In your view, perhaps. But not to others. Please don't thrust your opinions on others who enjoy different editions and different RPGs.
If you need to contact customer support or if there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here http://fgapp.idea.informer.com/

IMHO 4e is way better than 5e.

Please, no edition discussions in this thread - let's leave it as it is, discussing D&D 4e on Roll20 and Fantasy Grounds. If you want to discuss D&D 4e and 5e create a thread in the commons sub-forum. Thanks.
Private Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages. General FG questions should be asked in the forums - don't be afraid, the FG community don't bite and you're giving everyone the chance to respond and learn!
