Got a funky module update problem here

Hi all -

Tonight FGC during its update got stuck trying to update "Decal_HOTDQ.ext" - just timed out over and over, couldn't complete its update.

I've deleted the .dat file from the vault on the thought that it might have been corrupted, but even when the file is absent it still won't download the update.

Anyone else ever run into this?

There is either a network issue between you and SmiteWorks or there is some security software/device that is killing the download.
Try using a VPN as a test if you have one, or tethered to your mobile.
Check your routers security settings and same with your antivirus or software firewall.

I'll check this out, though I think I'm good network-wise. Several other files successfully updated in the same session as this failed one.

I ended up changing nothing, but today when I fired it up to start some troubleshooting, it downloaded normally. Go figure. /shrug.
