Export FGU User manual to PDF
Hi,
I've been trying to use the export tool on the wiki, but it seems to always grab the out of date version of pages rather than the current versions.
I see the outdated warning for sectons in the PDF generated:
"Outdated Page - Please use the new Customer Portal
This page is outdated and no longer updated. You will be automatically redirected to the new Fantasy Grounds Customer Portal, or click the link below."
Is there some trick to get it to use the active pages instead of the outdated pages?
I'm using the tool here:
https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassia...om+User+Manual
Following the instructions for a custom export.
I see the warning in the PDF for the FGU page (first one), Quick start guide, Installing FGU, Basic Guides, Available Rulesets, 2E ruleset, 5E ruleset, Community Rulesets, and CoreRPG Ruleset pages.
Am I doing something wrong, or is there some sort of error in the tool?
Thanks

No, it seems that the links are still pointing to the old pages I think. I'll let Derek know.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Something seems to have changed. Now trying to print a manual asks us to sign in to Confluence.
This didn't happen before, so I'm guessing something else is now broken...
(I was just rrying to go in and see if I can get the updated pages into thePDF manual...)

I got all the links updated, but something may be pointing to a restricted area for some reason. I'll have a look and see if I can't get it cleared up.
Thanks for letting us know!
EDIT: Looks like it was a permissions switch that didn't get flipped. It should be OK now. Let me know if it doesn't work.Last edited by WishX; January 19th, 2021 at 23:30.

I'm sitting at 14.5 minutes as this tool does a custom PDF. It's been stuck at 50% since the conversion portion. Is that standard?

It can be a time-consuming process as that's all handled on Atlassean's end, but you might want to make sure you're not trying to export the entire Customer Portal and exporting only the parts you need and will use.
You can see a bit what I'm talking about in the following help article:
