How to add a template to an official Bestiary creature?

Can anyone advise how to add a template to a creature from the official PF1 Bestiary? The creatures seem to be permalocked - I can't figure out how to edit them. Nor do there seem to be dragable templates.

(I'm trying to create a Young Troglodyte for Master of the Fallen Fortress.)

select the entry and drop it back into the same "npc" window.

that will make a dupe. then open the dupe, click the lock icon to unlock. edit to your heart's content :-)
