Roleplay & Combat mix:
If you are into role-playing, with very little rules/chrome, and a heavy emphasis on character and story, then this is the game for you. There is combat, but trying for a more cinematic style with an emphasis on descriptions.

We are exploring many ignored aspects of character within the game, and are trying to create stories that let us come to understand who the protagonists are and how they became that way.

Number of Players in-game & needed: 3 current, want 2 more
Character starting level & equipment: Start 1st level
Character restrictions: Using base characters, but no druids (this may change in the future)

Details scenario:

So far, the party has destroyed an evil cultist and his followers but not before his activities caused a nearby volcano to erupt leaving their village in the path of the volcanic flows.

The party came to understand that there are just some things you can't fight, and a volcano is one of them. The party convinced the citizens of their village to move and protected them along the arduous path.

They had heard tales of the city of Westham that had recently gained independence from the clutches of an evil wizard. Westham is actively seeking people to repopulate after the forced battles that ravaged the citizenry, leaving a large number of uninhabited homes and businesses.

Their fellow villagers were given homes and businesses in an outlying area of Westham, and the party was given an inn, The Copper Penny, to live in and run.

An old woman quickly arrived and told them about an ancient temple that lay beneath the inn. With the help of some ancient magic, as well as their own, blood, sweat, and tears (yes, literally), they wiped out the horrors below but at the cost of the life of the barbarian Gorm.

In honor of their fallen comrade they are now refurbishing, reopening, and renaming the inn, "Gorm's Glory."
