IFT Usage

I'm trying to set a homebrew item based on a magical spear +2.

the item damage is currently "1d6 piercing + 1d6 radiant damage" and I'm attempting to add 1d6 of radiant damage if the damage is against an undead or fiend entity using the below reference IFT,
IFT: type(fiend, undead); DMG: 1d6 radiant;

the damage rolls are still coming at the base 1d6 piercing + 1d6 radiant,

any idea of why this is not working?

Core FG does not allow effects in the weapon properties like you are trying to do. You must put them in the action on the actions table of the weapon as an effect and then apply that effect to the PC before roiling damage. If you are trying to do this based upon an extension, its best to ask in the thread for the extension.
