Struggling With Maps In FGU

Hi Hattoriku,

Am I right in thinking you use the small navigation/zoom square (bottom right of the map) to move around your maps? If so I would really recommend having a go with an external mouse that has a mouse wheel before abandoning FGU. I think I would have the same frustrations if I had to use the nav/zoom square, but with a mouse wheel for zooming, plus clicking the mouse wheel to 'grab' the map and move it, I find moving around the map is much more precise and pretty much frustration free. I've even offered to buy my players external mice as I think the difference in quality of life is so great.

Anyway, I hope this different perspective offers some options and help for your current frustrations.

This is great advice. A $5 or $10 dollar 3 button mouse is worth it's weight in gold!
