Help a NEWB: Tables - How to Have Rollable Table, Roll on a SubTable?

I'm *guessing* that this is possible but I don't know how to set it up. I do know how to setup a rollable table but want to know if it's easy to setup the table so certain results can roll on a subtable and then return the subtable result, all with one roll?

    Example:

    Random Encounters Table

    1-2 Nothing Happens
    3. See/Hear/Smell Something Weird (roll on Dungeon Dressing subtable)
    5. Random Monster (roll on Wandering Monster subtable)
    6. Weather Changes (roll on Weather subtable)

    Wandering Monster Table
    1 1d6 Goblins
    2 1d8 Zombies
    3 1d4 Kobolds
4 1d20 Ancient Huge Red Dragons

I want to roll a single roll on Random Encounters table and have it be able to roll on the subtable and return the result automagically and give that result.

    Is this possible/easy?

    Thanks for the help!

Rolling on a subtable is easy you just put the name of the table in square brackets.

So if you had a table for goblins it would be [Goblin Table]

Make the main table first, then make the sub-tables. Pretty easy.

    1-2 [Goblin Table]
    3-4 [Random Event]
    4-6 [Naked Horsemen]
    7-9 [Snake on Plane Storm]
    10 Nothing Happens

Even easier, just drag and drop the table you want to roll onto the result in the main table.

You can also roll on multiple tables for each result by using additional columns.

I'll play with this as well. I thought it might be easy! Thank you!

If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php
