/reload problems....
Tonight I left FGII running and my players entered their character sheets, one of them left a message stating that I had left a skill out....
So I edited the skillist.lua script and typedCode:/reload
Is there a way to save the db.xml other than quitting FGII?
As it is I have yet to tell them that they will need to re-enter everything again!

Hmm, thats a nasty one.
I guess doing a /save would force an update to the campaign data
Just have to remember to do it before doing /reloadWork Less, Game More!

Sorry for the inconvenience.
The point of the /reload command is to indeed reload the data in its original form. This is useful if you're experienting with rulesets and notice that you made a mistake at some point or are testing how old data works with a new modification.
For most cases I have recommended using "/reload ruleset", which only reloads the ruleset itself, without touching the data. I will make a small change in the next version that will cause "/reload" to only reload the ruleset, and "/reload all" to reload both data and the ruleset.Tero Parvinen
