Players moving assigned NPC, like familiars

We're having trouble allowing players to move their own familiars, animal companions, minions. The info in this video from 2 years ago isn't working, nobody can drag to indicate where they want to NPC to move. The DM has to do all the movement and it's getting cumbersome. Thanks!

The GM can turn on Party Movement and Vision option to allow any friendly faction NPCs to be moved by the party.

NPCs aren't "assigned" as much as "shared" (and can technically be shared with multiple players), so they are still owned by the GM.
