Player cancel intended movement
Is there a way for the player to cancel the intended movement after drawing it? In Classic, you could just restart the movement, but with the current Unity implementation, I cant find any way to cancel and restart the movement.

I'd say the DM cancels the move on request.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Yes, that is the only way I can see currently. I just prefer to not have to bother the DM every time I screw up drawing my movement and want to restart it.

Actually if you use the keyboard for movement and then slightly move the token using mouse drag that resets the movement path.

I'll play around with that. It seems a little finicky and not intuitive. I can see a lot of players getting annoyed with not being able to easily cancel the movement. Perhaps binding the ALT key or some other way to to restart movement similar to how MoonWizard proposed redefining the ALT key for DMs to start drawing movement.

To cancel a move, start a move with the token directly (not waypoints or endpoints), and that will cancel the move. (This is how it works in FGC too.)

I ran into a situation last night where this didnt work. it was bonehead on my part, but I started the movement, and then continued the movement back onto the starting point. at that point I could not restart movement because it would always attempt to continue the existing movement, even though it was in the same position as the starting point.

Once you move the endpoint off of the token, then move the waypoints off the token, then move the token. I think we still have some work on waypoint collapsing when points overlap (it's partially in place, but not fully).
