Are modules stand alone or lockerd to either FGC/ FGU?
Cheers!
I have been looking for an answer but my google-fu seems weak so I'll try here.
I have FGC and all my players have bought their own standard licenses too.
Now when I am thinking about trying unity with another group of players I want to get some worries cleared from my mind.
Are the modules I have bought free/stand alone from FGC, so I will be able to use them with both the FGC licence I have bought and the FGU licence I want to buy?
Or are the modules locked to one of the FG's?
I hope some one can give me a clear answer to this, and so do my friends.
I out my trust in the hivemind!

Welcome to the FG forums!
Modules should work with FGC and FGU. If you've bought them from the FG store there will be FGU. FGC and LoS icons for each product indicating their use.Private Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages. General FG questions should be asked in the forums - don't be afraid, the FG community don't bite and you're giving everyone the chance to respond and learn!

You should be able to run purchased modules on either version. The caveat is FGC modules with maps may not have the Line of Sight info on their maps and that FGU is still in beta so there may be features that don't work like you expect - but most of those don't affect the modules other than the map LOS problem.

Thanks for the quick answers.
As I am a bit uncertain I'll seek a bit more clarity. English is not my native language, so I might miss some nuances.
So, if I understand it correctly, the modules are compatible with bot FG versions separatly, but the saved campaigns/games are not compatible between the versions.
The only thing left to sort out is if I'll be able to run the same module in both versions of FG in paralell, having nothing to do with each other, apart from starting from the same base module loaded into the two.
It really boils down to, if I bought a module, can i Use it for both or will I be forced to buy the module 2 times?
Sorry for being overly explainative, but I hope you all can survive my uncertainty.
Cheers

Any of the store bought modules can be used in both FGC and FGU. You can run a campaign in FGC and in FGU using the same module without any interference from one to the other. FGC and FGU are different programs so they do not interact with each other. You do not have to buy modules twice.
The only difference in the modules is that in Unity some but not all modules will have line if sight built into the player maps. But those are not separate modules they are the same module used in both programs. If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Correct. Also you can do a one time migration of a FGC campaign to FGU.
