can you scroll thru the chat log during play?
Is there any way to scroll thru a chat log during play to see historical data?
For example, the DM gives a description of a room, and you want to go back and reread the description...
thanks.

There is a limit to how far you can go back. If there is a great deal of chatter you won't be able to go very far back.

Though the entire transcript is kept - you don't lose the chat log. You can always find it as an html document in the campaign folder.
With FG1 I would use Joshua's chatlog utility to clean it up a bit before posting it on the web for my players. Think I got that off the Four Ugly Monsters site a while back...

Also of note is that the chatlog file is only on the GM's machine.
