Create Local Character error
I get a "FantasyGrounds.exe has encountered an error and needs to close" whenever I delete a local character and exit the program.
It doesn't save any of the other characters made during that session, either.

Just to help out the developers:
1. What version of FG are you running? Including patch?
2. What operating system are you using?
3. Do you have your latest video card drivers installed?
4. Are you using a laptop? Which laptop?

3. Nope, but as it only happens after deleting a character you've created in the same session, not a character you've created in the previous sessions, and only wipes out characters you've created in the same session, not in the previous sessions, I fail to see how it could be due to video card drivers. (Note: I did say previously that I get the error "whenever I delete a local character," so I admit my fault in that.)
4. Nope.Last edited by joeru; April 29th, 2007 at 20:37.

I can't reproduce with 2.0.5. Tried making a new campaign from scratch and testing there?

To be clearer:
1. Have a GM make a new campaign, and start a session.
2. Have the player login and make a new character at login.
3. Modify the character.
4. Player logout by closing FG.
Do you get the same error making a character like this?

It doesn't do it when hosting a campaign, only in "Create and View Local Characters" mode, as the thread title suggests.

Does your top-level "GlobalRegistry.lua" contain anything?
e.g. "C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Fantasy Grounds II\GlobalRegistry.lua", where "username" is your Windows login name.
Have you tried removing "characters\d20.xml" and trying again?

Anyone else manage to replicate this?

Did you create the local character under the "d20" ruleset?
Have you modified the default ruleset?
Do you have other rulesets installed?
