Question on Cones and Shading on Hex vs Grid

When I drawn cones on a GRID map using Alt it shades the grid squares but not on a hex map. Maybe this is a limitation of the hex option? Thank you

Also same issue with circles and squares.

FGC does not support shading on any pointer for hex grids (only square grids)
FGU does not do any shading of pointers currently; though we hope to do something in the future.

I would certainly upvote for shading of squares in unity as its a great feature and helps to identify exactly which squares are affect by AOE spells.

Shading really should be done at the ruleset level. Different rules have different determinations of which squares get included. Just like different games use different cones.

And moon just said it's not something you can do at all in FGU.
