Only one player has problems to connect to my game

One of my players has problems to connect to my game.

He can't connect via connection history or the alias information - the error message is always "Could not connect to the host. Check your network settings and verify the host address". The only way he can connect is via IP address.

He encounters that error even if other players are already connected without problems.
He already disabled his anti virus and firewall. He tried to change the internet connection settings to public and back to private (it was private in the first place).

So since he can connect via IP I think this can't be some safety guard on his computer, but I think it's odd - I never had or heard of this problem before.

It means the user cannot reach the Alias server.
Can he run teh updater?

Yes, he says the updater works - and I don't get a message in the chat that he runs another version, so the updater seems to work fine.

Check their console.log after they fail to connect. What is it resolving the alias to?

That's what the OP is saying they are doing. We're trying to help them get the alias working.

Edit: Is the player in germany also? would the age filter thingy be blocking it?
