Fantasy Grounds not starting
Hello,
Just today a random problem occurred. I cannot get Fantasy Grounds to load or create a game. The connection test gives me a "Success" result, but when I try to load a game, the Start button does not work. Same for creating a game. I tried running the updater, but I got the result "ERROR: Get Products: network time out"Screen Shot 2020-06-04 at 7.56.35 PM.png
Not sure what to do from here. Please help! I have a game on Tuesday!
Thank you.

The problem seems to be with my Anti-Virus software (AVG). I'm not sure why it suddenly started not liking Fantasy Grounds, but when I shut off the File Shield, I was instantly able to start up Fantasy Grounds. Now I'm told I need to set up an Exception in my AV software. The problem is that I need to click on the files to allow, and those files are hidden. How can I find the filepath to put into my AV software for the extension?

Right click on the shortcut/icon you use to start FG. Goto Properties. Go to the file location and then make exceptions for the 3 (?) .exe files that are in that folder.

Well, that sounds like maybe the process on a PC - in AVG, I have to click on the file to add an exception, but that file is hidden, and can't be accessed in the exception setting window. However, it seems that I don't need a file exception, but a server exception. AVG has "File Shield", which scans files on your computer, and "Web Shield". When I turn off "File Shield," Fantasy Grounds still does not run, but when I turn off "Web Shield," Fantasy Grounds is able to run. So it seems to me that I need to set a server exception. What server should I put in as an exception? Fantasygrounds.com?
