1. ## Gambling Games

In my modern, espionage campaign, it's only a matter of time before my PC's run into a situation where they deciede to ignore the bad guy's plot to destroy the world with nuclear goldfish, and instead spend all their time in a casino. As such, I've been trying to find ways for them to play various gambling games via FG. I know in FG2 cards might be doable with the scripting, but until that time, I'm wondering if anyone else has tried to play games without all the fancy 'extras'?

The TSSI Rulebook I have outlines rules for two games, Blackjack and Roulette. I'd like to find a way to introduce poker, slots, craps (which I dont even know how to play...yet :b), and any other popular games....

Any suggestions for rules or games from folks out there? Much appreciated

2. Oh, heh, I should post the rules of the two games I have, in case someone wants to use'em.

Blackjack
The object of Blackjack is to aquire a score of 21, or at least as close to it as possible without going over. This can be simulated by rolling six sided dice and trying to get an 11 or 12.
-Each player rolls 2d6. A natural 11 or 12 wins (Blackjack).
-If the players total is less then 12, they can roll another dice, and continue until the sum is over 12, or they deciede to stop rolling.
-The GM rolls after all PCs using the same method. He must stand on 8, 9, or 10.
-Ties go to the GM.
-PC's who beat the GM win an amount equal to what they bet.
-PC's who lose to the GM lose what they bet.

Roulette
In roulette, a ball is set spinning in a rotating wheel. On the wheel are numbered slots of various colors. Players bet on which slot the ball will land on when the wheel stops spinning.

This can be simulated with a percentile (%) roll. Players make their bets before the dice are rolled. The bets, and payout odds, are:

Low 50 (1-50) 1:1
High 50 (51-100) 1:1
Odd # 1:1
String of 24 numbers 3:1
String of 9 numbers 9:1
Single numbers 95:1

PC's can place any number of bets on a single roll. Once all bets have been announced, the % dice is rolled and payouts are done accordingly.
-Anytime the dice end up as a double (11, 22, 33, etc), the house wins all bets (this is to simulate the 0 and 00 slots on the wheel).

Roll 1D6, 1-5 = *click*, 6 = death.

Of course, the winnings would be huge.

4. Each player rolls 3d6 wying for highest...
Roll Hazard-Games : Each one suceeding gets to reroll one
Roll for cheating (IE : Legerdemain or pick pocket etc) each suceeded attempt means you get to reroll one
