D&D 5E Mod for "Conjure Animal" spell

One of my players just picked up the "Conjure Animal" spell for his Druid. I was surprised that I couldn't find any mods or exts to help pick the various animals that get conjured when the spell is cast.

Has anyone come up with a better way that to create multiple encounters for the various animals?

    Try this extension https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...hapes-(for-5E)

You can share an NPC with a player. See this video on how. https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...176#post387176
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Yes, that's what I currently do for Druid Wild Shape ability. But when he summons 8 different animals, would he need to drag each of them to the map/combat tracker one by one? I was thinking of creating encounters and loading them that way but then I thought "This is not a new thing, someone must have found a better way".

You could create encounters and make the NPCs friendly before you put them on the CT; but if you don't share them with the player you'll need to handle the combat.

Best is to share everything with the player and get them to do all the work and make them realise next time they should choose a fighter

That is probably what I'll do as the last ditch option. Just surprises me that nobody has come across this situation before.

I'm sure they have. I'm not exactly sure what it is you are looking for certainly. It's easy enough to filter NPCs by CR and type if that's what the problem is.

Specifically, I was looking for some9ne who might have built a mod to add tables or encounters or some bettwr suggestion on how to support the casting of the "Conjire Animals" spell.
I have created some tables based on some external resources I've been able to find online but I was hoping that I could save some time and effort but just loading up a tried and true solution.

I guess I'll have to learn how to build a MOD

I've created "Encounters" for every "Beast" in the MM with the approprate number of creatures summoned based on their CR and I've create random tables for each of the 4 CR levels that can be conjured. Roll a die and it creates a random encounter.

I'll see how it works and then try to figure out how to dump it all into a MOD file that I can port here.

Unless my player conjures smal number of animals (like two dire wolfs) I treat conjured animals as a swarm with single attack (or multiattack). Especially when they are small or tiny. It takes away players advantage of multiple small attacks, but since the other option would be 30 minutes of worthless attacks every combat round, I don't negotiate. Result is pretty much the same and we save plenty of time.
