    Thanks all for your help.

    My conclusion is that font management has not changed, it is like FGC, but for combability issues and now you have to specify ffg for FGC and ttf for FGU.

    Using this:

    <root>
    <font name="reference-r">
    <ttf >
    <file >"graphics/fonts/calibri.ttf"</file>
    <name >"Calibri"</name>
    <size >28</size>
    </ttf>
    <color >"#660000"</color>
    </font>
    </root>
    Removing parentheses, same error:

    Use the same format for the font definition as Carl mentioned above in post #10.

    Yes, the FGC font definition works for FGC/FGU; In FGU I have some issues with size and in FGC is best to use ffg, but at least it workd. I have to make further tests.

    Not true, FGC accepts TTF perfectly fine. If, however, you do specify an FGF (yuck) font in your definition, FGC will give it priority.

    There is an issue with TTF font scaling between FGC and FGU. I'm actually working on fonts right now. If you are seeing a TTF render larger in FGU than in FGC, that is the current behavior.
