    Black circle around selected token?

    Hey gang,

I turned on some feature that is driving me nuts and cannot figure out what it is. When me or any of my players select a token there is a black circle around the token. Any idea how to get rid of it?

I don't know why the circle is so big - but it should be there. I think the black circle is the active token you have selected. Maybe something to do with the size of the token and the grid size?

Copernicus is on the right track. Not sure with FGU, but in FGC I would suggest you release token scale and remove/re-add tokens to the map and see if it resolves.

If you can reproduce it in a new campaign with no extension on different maps, please provide details so the devs can investigate further

Thanks for reporting. Can you provide me with any details about your setup? (windows or mac, which ruleset, which map, etc.)

    D&D 5e Ruleset with a custom adventure & map on a Windows 10 device.

Looks like LordEntrails might have been right about it having to do with the scale as looking deeper into the map (now that I am not running the session) I set the grid as a 2x2 rather than the proper dimension of map. I tested other maps I have made sense and the black selection ring seems to be appropriately sized so I guess we can chalk it up to learning how to properly make a map.

Did you change the scale after adding the tokens?

From what I recall, I set the scale of the map prior and didn't alter since the initial load. I also recall the map in general have the assets start of as massively large (like I dropped a Bejeweled Cup asset during game yesterday that took up the entire map). Given that my other maps seem OK I am guessing that I did something massively dorky when I created this map.

That suggests that you didn't put a grid on it?
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Grids in FGU are implicit. If no grid is assigned, it is assumed to be 50x50.
