Next Level XP
As the DM, I Click on the magnifying glass next to Class & Level on a player's character and I would like to edit the XP and Next Level fields.
I am able to edit the field but if I close out that pop-up and then re-open it the Next level field reverts back to what it was before I changed it.
An example would be I would like to change a first-level character's Next Level field from 300 to 2000.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.Last edited by fmccurry; November 11th, 2023 at 02:31.

That field shouldn't change, unless you have an extension that is changing it. The 5E ruleset does not fill in the Next Level field automatically nor adjust it, with the default implementation.
Try turning off all extensions you have running for that campaign, and see if you still see the issue.

You can use Mad Nomad's Character Sheet Tweaks to automate leveling.

It was an extension that was changing the XP number back to 300. Thank you for your help on this matter.
