I spend a lot of money here. I'd prefer not to have my intelligence insulted while I hand you my cash.
Thanks Atreides, I am not attempting to insult your intelligence in any way. We are just trying to break it down to as basic of a situation as possible so we can try to recreate it. Until we can recreate it, we can't really identify what the root cause of the problem is.

We get lots of support emails -- most of them from extremely smart people, often from IT professionals. You would be amazed how many times a solution ends up being something silly. Sometimes the silly thing getting missed is on our part. We like when we find those (no matter whose side it is on) because at least we find a solution that is easy to implement.

Did you get a chance to do my final throw of the dice suggestion of deleting the fantasygrounds.exe and running the installer from the installation folder?
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

    Fair enough, thank you.

I have done everything that Zacchaeus has asked me to do to test, and started fresh campaigns in both FGC and FGU, with no extensions loaded, with the same results.

I have just found something interesting that may help you:

Below is a map, with pins, that I called up from the Adventure 2 library listing.

    Adventure2.jpg

Here is another GM map, drawn from the Chapter 5 library listing, with no pins. I left the Adventure 2 map on the screen.

    Chapter5.jpg

Perhaps that helps clear things up?

EDIT: It appears that the pins are present if you load from the Adventure .mod when it's loaded. They are not present if you pull the picture from the EGTW .mod.

So, perhaps it was intentional after all? The Core EGTW .mod doesn't have the pins, just the Adventures .mod?

Tested this with ERftLW, and its the same - maps from the core mod aren't pinned, maps in the adventure mod are.

So, I guess it *was* my intelligence that was the problem.

Apologies for being shitty. Trying times.

    Thanks for your assistance.

No problem, glad you got it sorted. And yes the pins only appear in the adventure (which was what i thought you were talking about - so all at cross purposes).
