I'm really concerned with dulux-oz leaving and has just announced he will no longer support the sound extension among his other extensions. He has also said he will not hand over the ongoing support for his extensions. Where does that leave Syrinscape's integration with Fantasy Grounds???

It's an interesting situation to be sure. He's within his rights to pull his code from the forums.
However, there's the sound modules that he sells on DMs Guild that are paid for and rely on his extensions to work. If there's a problem with the extension not working in the future that could now potentially leave paid customers without being able to use the product they've purchased. Knowing Dulux I'm sure that he'll cater for people who've paid for either of these products - hopefully hosting the required FG extensions outside of this forum. But that is just my guess...Private Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages. General FG questions should be asked in the forums - don't be afraid, the FG community don't bite and you're giving everyone the chance to respond and learn!

By this post here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...antasy-Grounds, it seems that there is a way to create sound triggers without the extension; just in case but a bit more steps to do

Yep this way works fine. I've used Dulux's extensions a lot in the past, but the current game I run uses MoreCore which Dulux no longer supported with his extension. I turned to this method, and although not as convenient at first, once you get your process down for creating the links (I do them in batches, for example), it isn't too bad. I still prefer paying someone to do the work for me though

Some time tonight I Rob2e and I will be publishing a module to DMG with all the sound links that Syrinscape offers. The links will trigger syrinscape sounds but it does not require DOE at all. I am also working on an extension that will allow triggering the new syrinscape online

The way I made it, it should work in most if not all rulesets. The sound links are all created in basic story entries using corerpg as the base.

I wasnt able to publish last night, but my sound link module is finally published. https://www.dmsguild.com/product/301...iate_id=712946
This is specifically for the Syrinscape Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Boardgame Player clients. It will not work with the Syrinscape Online. You must have the Syrinscape Player running. I am making progress on an extension and new module which will allow Syrinscape Online functionality. When they are complete, they will be added to this package, not sold separately. Also with this package, future updates are free.
I plan on updating somewhere between monthly and quarterly depending on how often Syrinscape releases new sounds. For support with any of my extensions, visit my #mattekure-stuff channel on Rob2e's discord https://discord.gg/rob2e
