Not Connecting after Update to 3.3.9
After a few months of having no issues connecting externally to our friend to play PF2 (Currently on the Cult of Cinders Module made by FG), we could not connect to each other after updating both our FG programs to 3.3.9. I also tried to connect two instances of FG externally and they could not connect, either. I am able to connect my two instances internally.
When I run the connection test it fails. We have previously followed and successfully used the port forwarding guidelines given in these forums. We checked to make sure the port forwarding was still enabled and correct after the failures to connect. They are still as they were before we updated to 3.3.9. I and our distant connector have double and triple checked that we are using the correct external IP address.
We both get these messages

Help, please
Thank you

The two most common causes of this is because the GM's Network connection is no longer set to private (home/work) due to a Windows update; or the GMs security software is interfering because the file has been updated.
Verify the connection is not public, and verify the security software does not have FG blocked and recreate any exceptions/whitelisting that is done.

Check you have only 1 port forward for tcp 1802 and it is pointing to the GMs IP.
If you did not setup port forwarding please reboot your router.
If neither of those work open a cmd prompt and type
tracert 8.8.8.8
and post the results here
quite a few people have reported issues with both AT&T and Comcast lately

Thanks for your quick replies and suggestions.
The above suggestions were tried for setting the server to private (we did) and making sure FG was not blocked by our security software.
We still could not connect and got failures on testing the connection in FG.
So here are the command prompt results:
C:\Users\Lisa>tracert 8.8.8.8
Tracing route to dns.google [8.8.8.8]

Trace complete.
Did the update today and still got a failure on the test connection in FG.

You have two devices doing NAT or your ISP has changed your connection.
Please see the link that LordEntrails posted: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...ions-Explained
Please post answers to all the questions particularly the screenshots of your router settings.
