Feeling D&D Nostalgic
I started playing with 80"s D&D 2E TSR Blue box with B2, S1 tomb of horrors, S2 white plume mountain, S3 expedition to the barrier peaks in middle school. Got back into it in the 90's 3.5 adventuring out from the yawning portal, WOTC one shots and the worlds largest dungeon. I am looking at getting back into it with 5E learning mechanics as an player then adjusting some old modules to 5E for ease of finding groups to play.
Would appreciate your thoughts on this and any advice on areas to learn, or what to do first

The 2e ruleset is great and you will find a lot of people using it.
