Only getting "Average Hit Points"
Good Day All
I have been messing around with my 5E and made a fresh campaign with no extensions running. While working on adding a character class I noticed that every time I leveled up I only got the average hit points. I decided to try other classes and after generating about 7 characters and leveling them up to 20th all I ever had added was the average hit points. All told well over 150 individual die rolls, so something should have come up higher than the average. Am I missing a setting somewhere that allows me to set this to generate random numbers for hit points?
Thanks

Check your options. In the House Rules (GM) section, is an option PC: Use average HP per level. If that is set to on, you will always get the average and it wont be rolled.
Edit - sorry, this option is from an extension. By default FG always gives you average HP on a level up. You can manually override this by rolling and using that value, but you will have to remove the HP that FG auto adds for you.Last edited by mattekure; November 2nd, 2019 at 19:37.

Good Day Mattekure
Thanks for the reply, I have been mostly a DM so never paid attention to it before when the players leveled up.
What extension are you using that allows you to turn it off if I might ask?
