Player stuck downloading files
Greetings, I am currently attempting to run a 5e campaign, and all players are able to join my game except one, who gets stuck on the "downloading files" phase of connecting. It shows in the chat log in game that he is connected, but for some reason he is unable to get into the game on his end.
We have nuked his cache and reinstalled FG. Also, when looking in his cache while the launcher is downloading files, the campaign.dat file grows a little bit at the start of the download, but then gets stuck at a point and doesn't grow after.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi bambeezy welcome to FG.
Something on his computer is preventing the download operation from completing. Things to check are antivirus software (make sure there are exceptions for FG) and whether they have any parental controls or flood protection on their router. If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Thanks for the reply. We have disabled any and all antivirus or firewall software on his computer and router. We can't find an option for flood protection in the router settings though?
He is still unable to download, however.

Bambeezy can the player successfully download a different campaign or from a different GM?

Also an idea have another player copy their campaign folder, zip it and he downloads that. It will at least get him over the initial hurdle.
