Radial Menu- Link Functionality
I'm trying to understand the purpose of the "Link" function in the Story formatting radial menu. I know I can create a link in a story entry and drag an encounter or such into the link - but can''t I do that directly by dragging the encounter into the story entry anyway? What purpose does the link function serve if that's the case? I'm sure I'm missing something...just not sure what...

It allows you to create the placeholder for the link before you add the link.

So more of an organizational tool to come back to later? I see the utility - but am I correct that if you already have the encounter and drag it in, the link option is rendered moot?
(as an aside - I do find that it makes a nice "bullet" format option when the small bullets just wont cut it.

It also is quicker doing it this way if you want to have your own labels/text rather than the link shortcut name used.
Create the first link, add your desc, enter, repeat as required and then drag your links in.

Thank you for the explanation!
