    A few stats on Rulesets

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has wondered how many elements make up a ruleset. While processing rulesets for an upcoming release of my theme designer, I decided to gather some simple data. The data collected was the total number of framedefs, fonts, icons, strings, and portraitset elements, as well as a grand total of all items. Ruleset files were pulled from ruleset/graphics/graphics_*.xml and ruleset/strings/*.xml. I will add more ruleset totals as I process them.

    Since everything starts with CoreRPG...

    CoreRPG
    Total Elements 1419
    Framedef 100
    Fonts 59
    Icons 505
    Strings 751
    Portrait Set 4

The following tables show the counts for the rulesets, and the total element counts when the specified ruleset has been loaded with CoreRPG. The "Records Merged" row shows how many CoreRPG elements were replaced by the specified rulesets.

Those are quite a lot of components. I wished there was an easy and centralized way to manage everything
The past is a rudder to guide us, not an anchor to hold us back.
